About the course
This seminar is being run by Ian Pearce who is the College’s representative to the Secretary of State for Transport's Honorary Medical Advisory Panel Meetings panel for visual disorders. The seminar will cover current regulations, what you should do in clinic, visual fields and exceptionality, the concept of full functional adaptation, what the DVLA panel does and the process of appeal, and case study discussion. The seminar is aimed at all ophthalmologists and allied health professionals who also advise patients on vision standards and driving. It will help the delegates familiarise themselves with the current standards and approaches to discussion with patients.
