Aims & Objectives
1) To provide delegates with case-based radiological teaching that forms part of the surgical curriculum. 2) Delegates will have a greater understanding of and will be more confident to interpret simple imaging and order appropriate cross-sectional imaging. 3) This course will help candidates preparing for the MRCS
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course delegates will be able to: 1) Interpret plain films of chest and abdomen with confidence 2) Be aware of radiological safety guidelines 3) Understand which cross-sectional imaging modalities are most appropriate in different clinical scenarios 4) Have a greater insight into the role of the interventional radiologist
