Cancer survival rates are increasing, even those not cured are living significantly longer, this means more general practitioners will encounter cancer patients in their own clinics. In addition, new classes of cancer therapies have very novel side effects, which may well present to non-oncologists specialists such as endocrinology, respiratory and GI.
