Procedural Skills for Medical Trainees - West of Scotland

Please note: Only available to West of Scotland Medical Trainees.

This course is an excellent opportunity to develop your practical skills and gain knowledge in common CMT procedures. Each skills station will provide hands-on experience, with access to high quality training materials and one-on-one guidance from experienced trainers.
The six skills stations covered are:

  • CVC insertion
  • Lumbar puncture
  • Knee aspiration
  • NG tube insertion/basic tracheostomy care
  • NIV
  • Chest Drain

FEES: Each delegate will need to pay £20.00 to secure booking and this can be claimed back from study budget funds at NES. Course places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
