About the course

This course has been designed for doctors, nurses, academic staff and other health professions, at all stages of their career, working within or aspiring to a leadership or management role.

Throughout your studies you will build knowledge on theoretical and practical leadership development, focussing on developing understanding of leadership and management at three levels: the intrapersonal (understanding yourself and developing yourself as a leader), the interpersonal (working with and leading others, groups and teams) and the organisational/system level (looking at complexity and change).

This modular course has been designed specifically for busy working professionals, meaning you can study online, or combine this with attendance at contact days offered at our Singleton Campus in Swansea or at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Clinical Education Centres.

MSc, PGDip and PGCert exit qualifications available.
