Overview
Taught by leading experts in the field, this course will cover how to assess children with developmental disorders, the tools and services that support diagnosis and ongoing management, and the coordination of child and family centred care.
There will also be ample opportunity to discuss complex cases and 'grey' areas.
Learning aims, objectives and outcomes
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
- better understand the scope of developmental disorders and how they may present
- consider coordination of child and family centred care and how it may be delivered with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency care
- be more confident in the assessment of children who have developmental disorders and know of tools and services to support diagnosis and ongoing management
- have opportunity with peers, colleagues and experts to discuss complex and grey cases; and gain practical support to clinical management
