About the course

The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society is launching on the 5th November 2018 and we invite you join us at the free launch event being held at the RAF Club, Piccadilly London, W1J 7PY. This event is aimed at working clinicians with an interest in medical cannabis who wish to understand more about this area.  The launch event will be a seminar providing an opportunity to learn from leading medical cannabis practitioners, some from overseas.

2018 has seen historic, fast-paced changes to medical cannabis policy in the UK.  This has in large part been due to several high-profile cases around childhood epilepsy.  However, medical cannabis can help across a much wider range of conditions. Following a review, the Home Secretary announced that certain cannabis-derived medical products will be rescheduled and thus available to be prescribed possibly as soon as this Autumn. This creates an urgent need for medical professionals to understand these developments and the potential benefits of medical cannabis.

The event will also give you an opportunity to hear about the free medical cannabis teaching modules being launch alongside the society.

To be a part of this first seminar of the new society and to find out more please visit www.ukmccs.org.

A formal agenda and further information about the event will be circulated closer to the time.

We hope to welcome you on the 5th November for what is likely to be a very educational and rewarding event.
