After completing this course of modules, you should:

Feel confident in managing patients with heart failure

Be able to manage patients with stable angina in primary care

Know how to assess and treat patients with a range of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation 

Be able to assess a patient’s risk of stroke in atrial fibrillation, and know how to start anticoagulation safely when necessary

Be able to manage patients’ risk factors for ischaemic heart disease, including hypertension and hyperlipidaemia 

Be able to adopt a systematic approach to ECG interpretation, including ECGs in patients with chest pain
