About the course

he Ethnic Minority Women in Welsh Healthcare (EMWWH) scheme was established to empower and support all professional ethnic minority women in healthcare in Wales. The aim is to promote professional development by supporting educational events and by facilitating mentorship, career advice, counselling, leadership, management skills, teaching and research. The scheme also aims to address the difficulties and challenges encountered by the EMWWH members and identify systems to support them. There is currently no such structure in place for supporting the ethnic minority women within the Welsh healthcare system. The 2nd conference followed by entertainment and celebratory dinner will be held on the above date. The conference will start at 1600 hours and the buffet dinner will be served at 1930 hours.

Target audience :

All female BME healthcare workers in Wales including medical doctors, dentists, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, radiologists, and other registered allied professionals.
