Learning outcomes

The day aims to update the multi disciplinary team caring for lung cancer patients regarding current genetic approaches to treatment, and the importance of support from all members of the team. Attendees will develop their knowledge of new treatments and how to treat adverse events, The event aims to focus on improving patient outcomes with multiple lines of treatment.

The day aims to update the multi disciplinary team caring for lung cancer patients regarding current genetic approaches to treatment, and the importance of support from all members of the team. Attendees will develop their knowledge of new treatments and how to treat adverse events.  The event will focus on improving patient outcomes with multiple lines of treatment, addressing ‘Living with and Beyond’ lung cancer – improving quality of life and managing patient concerns. This will be demonstrated in the final session of the day.

Intended audience

All members of the MDT.  To include: Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, GPs, medical staff & clinical research teams.

Delivery

This teaching will be delivered through a varied programmed of speaker presentations and interactive discussion sessions.
