About the course

This plain radiography imaging day will aim to demonstrate both the continuing value, and pitfalls of plain radiographs in musculoskeletal conditions. The limitations of the radiologists report, which may be the only information available to General Practitioners, the causes of missed fractures (particularly of the scaphoid and hip) and the use of plain radiographs in assessment of hip replacements,  spinal trauma,  tumours, metabolic bone diseases, bone and joint infections and arthropathies are covered. The content will be of interest to general practitioners, A&E practitioners, trainees and consultants in radiology and orthopaedics.
