About the course

In this masterclass, the day starts with an insight into human factors in healthcare and its importance in relation to patient safety, quality and care. You’ll learn how the theory can translate into your work and share best practice with each other.

This masterclass looks at the non-clinical skills that you need to build your competence in this subject area and as practitioners. Throughout the day, we’ll take you through four workshops on; resilience, understanding culture and communication, effective feedback and emotional intelligence.

The workshop sessions in the day are discursive and facilitative in their nature. Our experienced team of trainers present a range of workshops that are research-led and highly interactive, encouraging you to reflect, network with other doctors, and explore and practise a variety of techniques on offer.
