Medicine for All: Haematology

About the course

Physicians working across all areas of medicine will now encounter patients on wards with co-morbidities. This presents new challenges for clinicians and the need for an understanding of general internal medicine over a range of specialities. This half day will address haematology.

All areas of hospital and community practice interact with haematology, whether relating to patients with primary blood disorders or to the interpretation of laboratory analyses. Through a series of mini-lectures and interactive case presentations, this half-day meeting offers attendees updates relevant to their everyday practice focussing on consultative haematology.

This will be particularly relevant for all healthcare professionals involved in the acute medical take or managing patients with co-morbidities.
