About the course
This MSc is designed to accelerate surgical training and improve surgical skills that are essential for building confidence in clinical practice. The programme offers the opportunity to develop, or extend, expertise in the established and rapidly developing areas of laparoscopic surgery and bowel anastomosis.
The course will provide students with a unique opportunity to practice and perfect the laparoscopic technical skills necessary to meet the standards set by The Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland for obtaining LapPass – “The Laparoscopic Passport”.
As well as practical skills, students will gain a clear understanding of the research process, including research design, methodology, analysis, and presentation of work for publication.
