About the course

Overview

This one day course is aimed at General Practitioners (GP's) and trainees with an interest in MSK. Delivery will be by small discussion groups based on material from pre-course podcasts and skills stations for examination and injection technique with built in assessments. The aim of this course is to develop a formal process of educating GP's who chose to have MSK as a special interest. GP's already in practice may look at this as an opportunity to keep up to date. After attending the course you will be able to develop an algorithmic approach to managing musculoskeletal problems in the community to the point when surgery is the only option. This would be very relevant to the present challenge of meeting the 18 week RTT. It would also help in achieving more efficiency in a system that is stretched beyond its means.
