<p><strong>When it comes to investment, mental health trails far behind other fields of healthcare. This opens a world of opportunity for passionate people looking to create sustainable strategies to address the treatment gap and lead the charge for mental wellbeing. Ranked 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;in the UK for Medicine (The Times and Sunday Times University League Table 2018), the University of Glasgow recognises the importance of addressing the global mental health treatment gap and, because of this, our programme matches global mental health goals set by the United Nations.</strong></p> <p><strong><em>International focus</em></strong></p> <p>As part of our efforts to understand the challenges faced by low-income countries, we collaborate with various institutions, including the University of Rwanda, to help fuel the programme’s international outlook. Together, we’re committed to preventing disease, improving health and wellbeing, and reducing inequalities locally, nationally and globally.</p> <p>Studying this programme will expose you to leading research and first-hand insights from international experts who have lived and worked with mental health, as well as the expertise from our lecture team.
