About the course

Organised by the Blizard Institute in collaboration with the WHO Collaborating Centre in Tradate, Italy, this course will host a number of national and international speakers in the fields of tuberculosis, infectious disease, HIV and paediatrics. This intensive and authoritative agenda will offer more than an update to participants on the clinical management of TB cases, evaluating new diagnostic/molecular techniques available for TB and providing an understanding of TB epidemiology and elimination. The symposium will also launch our world-first PGCert in Tuberculosis. The programme will be of special interest to doctors including consultants, specialist trainees in respiratory medicine, paediatrics, public health specialists, TB nurse leads and nurses, pharmacists, as well as other allied health professionals working in the field of tuberculosis. The programme is interactive, with case presentations and opportunities to discuss and collaborate with our international colleagues and partners, and our future TB course leadership team. Find a full list of speakers and register here. Book to attend one day or both days with discounted rates available for non-consultants/GPs/senior academics. CPD points approved. For more information, please contact pg-tuberculosis@qmul.ac.uk
