About the course

Study on the first Aesthetic Medicine Masters programme of its kind within the UK. The course has been developed by leading aestheticians specifically for practicing clinicians. It focusses on non-operative techniques and is open to a variety of clinicians such as doctors, dentists and nurses.

We have a large number of specialists teaching on the course, many of whom are world leaders in their fields, including academics from other institutions, clinicians, and specialists from the medical industry.

You will gain:

  • a strong scientific background to aesthetic medicine including skin physiology and hair biology
  • a sound knowledge base in basic and advanced techniques such as Botulinum toxin, fillers, lasers and cosmeceuticals
  • simulation training through two optional clinical days each year.

You will learn the importance of evidence-based practice through critique of aesthetic literature. Accompanying lectures will help you evaluate your practice, get a detailed knowledge of the application of consent and ethical practice, and gain an insight into the regulatory environment.
