About the course

This course is aimed at physicians in acute specialties looking to improve their skills in echo in life support.

It would suit those who have already completed a level 1 course and are looking for further teaching and experience or the ultrasound novice who would like to start their learning in point of care ultrasound with this very useful application. The day will consist of a combination of lectures and lots of hands on scanning, giving an introduction into the use of point of care echo as part of the assessment of the acutely unwell patient

Scan normal subjects and use our advanced Heartworks simulator  to see examples of pathology.
