The UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology is a global leader in neuroscience at the forefront of the mission to translate neuroscience discovery into treatments for patients with neurological diseases such as dementia. Our strong clinical partnership with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery gives us a privileged understanding of how to bring a patient-focused approach to research, innovation and education.

We provide training for the next generation of researchers and clinical providers of expert stroke care. We are delighted to announce the new UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology Stroke Academic Excellence Scholarship, worth £4000 each for UK applicants to the following programmes in 2021/22:

  • Clinical Neuroscience: Stroke Medicine MSc
  • Stroke Medicine MRes.

We continue to see advances in our understanding of disease mechanisms and new treatment options for stroke. These prestigious new scholarships aim to support UK applicants who have a strong interest in contributing to stroke research.
