Optimal management of the acutely ill patient: The first 24 hours

Returning for its eighth year, our flagship medical conference will provide up-to-date information on the optimal management of acutely ill patients within the first 24 hours of admission.  Focusing on the most common situations that present in busy receiving wards, a range of topics and specialties will be covered during the 2-day event, including:

  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Diabetes and Endocrinology
  • Acute Medicine
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Drug Reactions and Toxicity
  • Neurology
  • Renal Medicine

We are delighted to be able to deliver this event in both a face to face and digital format, with keynote lectures, topical presentations and interactive sessions as well as ample opportunity to pose questions and share opinions with fellow attendees.

The Conference will offer up to 12 external CPD credits.

POSTER COMPETITION

We are now inviting abstracts for this year’s Medicine24 poster and oral competition.

The top 3 submissions will be selected for a short oral presentation during the Conference and all other accepted abstracts will be displayed on a digital showcase throughout the event.

We are calling for abstracts on a range of topics relating to the initial management of patients in general medicine or a medical speciality and entries should relate to case report, audit, quality improvement project or a clinical trial/study.

The closing date for submissions is Thursday 15 September 2022.
