About the course

Please note: The are still some last-minute spaces available on the programme for September 2023 start. The final application deadlines are Friday 1 September for Overseas students requiring a Student Route Visa to study in the UK or Friday 8 September for Home students.

Study on the first Aesthetic Medicine Masters programme of its kind within the UK. The course has been developed by leading aestheticians specifically for practising clinicians. It focuses on theoretical training in non-operative techniques and is open to a variety of clinicians such as doctors, dentists and nurses.

Study at a pace that fits around your daily commitments with set assignment submission deadlines during the academic year to facilitate planning.

We have a large number of specialists teaching on the course, many of whom are world leaders in their fields, including academics from other institutions, clinicians, and specialists from the medical industry.

You will gain:

  • a strong scientific background to aesthetic medicine including skin physiology and hair biology
  • a sound theoretical knowledge base in basic and advanced techniques such as Botulinum toxin, fillers, lasers and cosmeceuticals
  • simulation training through optional clinical days.

You will learn the importance of evidence-based practice through critique of aesthetic literature. Accompanying lectures will help you evaluate your practice, get a detailed knowledge of the application of consent and ethical practice, and gain an insight into the regulatory environment.
