Principles of Workplace Supervision in Healthcare (online AND face to face) – January 2024 (Online), 19 March & 30 April 2024 (Onsite)

Effective supervision is fundamental for health practitioner’s well-being and the safety of both practitioners and the public.  Registered health professions’ standards of proficiency state the need for supervision and employers also have legal duties, set out in the health and care act, to ensure provision of supervision and education.  The course is designed to prompt you to think about supervision as a supervisor and as a supervisee. 

Audience: This is an introductory course exploring the foundations of supervision and will be relevant across the healthcare workforce for both supervisee and supervisors. You need to finish the online element and attend two face-to-face workshops to complete the course. From £425
