Emergency Urological Surgery Cadaver Course

Aimed at middle years and senior trainees (ST4 to 7), this one day course will offer hands on experience and the opportunity to perform essential open urological emergency procedures using fresh cadaveric material.
The programme Includes:
- Open cystostomy
- Reimplantation of ureter with psoas hitch
- Boari Flap
- Transuretero-ureterostomy
- Emergency renal exploration
Two delegates will be assigned to each cadaver along with a low delegate/faculty ratio. Some didactic teaching will take place but the main emphasis of the course will be to provide hands on practical experience.
