Join us for the Annual Dental Conference: Embracing Realistic Dentistry (previously TC White), where you’ll receive an update on key topics in realistic dentistry from expert speakers and have the chance to ask questions to deepen your knowledge.
There are several challenges facing healthcare today, including the ageing population, service and environmental sustainability and health inequalities.
Realistic Dentistry is about providing value-based health and care and outcomes that matter most to people. Value-based health and care means providing what is right for the person, society and the environment.
Based upon the Chief Medical Officer of Scotland’s Realistic Medicine and Vision for 2030, practicing realistic dentistry aims to make the care we provide more person-centered, sustainable and equitable.
This multidisciplinary day will demonstrate how the principles of realistic medicine can be applied to dentistry and why they are important for dental teams. The afternoon will also be an opportunity to learn and consider how you can implement realistic medicine/dentistry principles into your practice, organisation and wider systems.
