About the course

The Interactive Cardiology Conference is a hybrid event which aims to provide an opportunity for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and allied health professionals to get together and discuss vital updates on the latest cardiovascular innovations.  

With heart disease as the UK’s primary cause of premature death, this conference will present the latest evidence shaping cardiovascular medicine. We’ll also take a practical approach to topics, helping you understand and manage clinical scenarios and applying the latest clinical guidelines to achieve the best patient outcomes. 

Intended outcomes: 

By attending this conference, you’ll be able to:  

  • Understand new treatments around ischaemic heart disease 
  • Gain a greater understanding of cardiomyopathy 
  • Learn more about how imaging can help identify heart failure aetiology 
  • Refresh and expand what you know about structural heart disease

To consolidate your learning, we record all sessions and make them available to all registered delegates for up to a month after the conference. 

Claiming your CPD: 

This conference offers 6 CPD points for everyone who attends. This can be claimed via your College account. CPD points will be available for up to one month after the conference as well as recordings of any sessions you missed.

Poster competition: 

We are currently accepting entries for the Interactive Cardiology Conference poster competition.  

This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and understanding, as well as get an edge for your future career development.  

The top submissions will be invited to present their entry as part of the conference with the winner announced at the end of the conference. All other accepted abstracts will feature as part of a digital showcase.

Attending the conference: 

This event is hybrid. That means you get the chance to join us both at the College or from the comfort of your own home. 

Coming to the College: For those joining us in Glasgow, you’ll benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, as well as lunch prepared by our award-winning chefs.
