About the course
Cancer Conference: Advances in oncology and managing toxicities is a hybrid event which aims to provide up to date presentations, case-based talks, panel discussions and poster presentations covering the latest topics in Oncology.
Sessions will include:
- Updates on cancer treatments: colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer
- Acute fatigue in immunotherapy patients
- Myocarditis: causes symptoms and treatment
- Colitis and diarrhoea in immunotherapy patients
- Hypophysis, known causes symptoms and treatment
- Malignancy of unknow origins
- Real world data versus trial data
- Critical care outcomes for cancer patients
- How to discuss uncertainties in outcomes and treatment with patients
- Living with uncertainty
Claiming your CPD:
This conference offers 6 CPD points for everyone who attends. This can be claimed via your College account. CPD points will be available for up to one month after the conference as well as recordings of any sessions you missed. You can download your digital CPD certificate from your College account.

Poster competition:
We’re currently accepting entries for the Cancer Conference poster competition.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and understanding, as well as get an edge for your future career development.
The top submissions will be invited to present their entry as part of the conference with the winner announced at the end. All other accepted abstracts will feature as part of a digital showcase.

This event is hybrid. That means you get the chance to join us both at the College or from the comfort of your own home.
