Royal College of Psychiatry Exam Changes The number of MRCPsych Written papers have been reduced from three to two. For a transitional period Paper A will be split into two sections A (i) and A (ii) and will be held on the same day. These papers will be equivalent to the current Paper 1 and 2. 

Paper 3 has been revised and remapped to the new curriculum and renamed Paper B.
