Regenerative Medicine MRes
Provided by Queen Mary University of London
About the course
Explore the possibilities of regenerative medicine, an interdisciplinary field which aims to repair diseased or damaged tissues using a biological or cell-based approach. Encompassing stem cell biology, tissue engineering, genome engineering, and nanotechnology, it is a rapidly-growing area of biomedical research which has the potential to make a significant impact on human health and economic development. This MRes programme allows you to complete an extended research project, designing and carrying out your own experiment under the supervision of world-class researchers.
- Acquire advanced training from internationally renowned scientists in stem cell biology, cellular regeneration, biomaterials, and tissue engineering
- Undertake a significant lab-based research project in our state-of-the-art research facilities, or a bioinformatics research project
- Interact with clinicians involved in translational research at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals.
- Experience multi-disciplinary training through collaboration with the School of Engineering and Materials Science
- Learn and work in outstanding research facilities
- Develop industry contacts and enjoy networking opportunities and support from academic advisors and the student office
