Training the Trainers: Foundation Essentials (Birmingham)

This course is aimed at Foundations Doctors (FY1 & FY2) and Senior Medical Students who may be interested in attending.

To equip student and foundation doctors with an interest in surgery with the skills they require as teachers and learners at foundation level and beyond.

By the end of the course participants will be able to: 1) Articulate and apply learning theory to their own development; 2) Present structured information in a teaching or clinical setting; 3) Give and receive feedback in a structured way; 4) Identify practical strategies to maximise learning in clinical settings.
