Communication skills (London)

Communication looks effortless when it is done well, however, it is quite difficult and requires engagement, empathy and the ability to listen and respond appropriately.

Often doctors need to communicate under pressurised situations and it can be difficult to express yourself clearly and succinctly in these environments.

Communication takes place both in a verbal and a written format and this workshop will tackle moving from verbal communication in acute medical situations to looking at how to produce effective handovers and thinking about how you can use the tools and techniques that you have gained to help and support you in the workplace.
