About the course
This course is part of the RCOG Core Knowledge series.

When you have completed this course, you will be able to:
- describe the epidemiology, pathophysiology and risk factors in venothromboembolism in pregnancy
- diagnose venothromboembolism in pregnancy by clinical assessment and organise appropriate investigations
- appropriately treat a pregnant or postpartum woman with confirmed venothromboembolism
- recognise who needs to be given thromboprophylaxis to prevent venothromboembolism.
