Master of Science or Postgraduate Diploma Gastroenterology

Available both as a one year on site course and a 2 year part time distance learning course this has been designed as a thorough introduction and update in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Based in a large academic department with specialists in all areas leading the teaching ( including immunology, genetics, physiology, medical education, adult and paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, neurogastroenterology) it is aimed at clinicians wishing to gain strong knowledge of research and sciences underpinning clinical diseases and their management.

The course covers the complete curriculum in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition if you are a new entrant into these specialities, and act as an update and extension if you are already working in it. Recent participants have included a range of people from those in general practice, core and speciality trainees and consultants in both adult and paediatric gastroenterology.
